    Blog 13: Meditation – The Monkey Mind

    27. August 2018 In the last few months I have started to meditate regularly. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed at the beginning. There were two things that bothered me: The first one was that I could not get the hang of the Lotus Posture properly; the second one was that I could never really empty my mind during meditation. But I am a stubborn, or for a better word, a persistent person. I continue trying, even though I can still barely do a half Lotus Posture, and my mind is still full of  thoughts most of the time.     German Version When I started drawing portraits I was very lucky to come across Betty Edwards’ book ”Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain“ online by chance. I was inspired and still am enthused by her theory. For me Betty Edwards is the best art teacher ever.
